Why o why wasn't it 2F?

7.30 am. Arrival: Paris Charles-de-Gaulles.

It was our misfortune to connect in Terminal 2C. The long awaited melting taste of macaron from “La Duree” shall not be happening. Gaby’s salivary glands were confused. Not even a “pain au chocolat” saved the situation. And I should tell you, without access to “La Duree”, the three-hour waiting time with Gaby is getting to be vraiment INDURABLE! Tip for those into those guilty pleasures, next time you crave them, make sure you're going through 2F.

Our flight has gone as scheduled and we even arrived ahead of time. I hate CDG in the morning, the sun is bright and the glass reflections allow no breaks from squinting. But the tomato-mozarella-pesto baguette was most definitely worth it.

I still haven't slept but I am not half as cranky as Gaby who woke up an hour before landing and was wondering if we had just taken off. In fact Gaby just dozed off now. Hell Gaby, are we going to be out of sync for the whole trip?

Before I part, and our internet access expires (which Gaby signed up for to check in which Terminal La Duree was... ), I need to share with you a funny story depicting how loow Gaby can go for chocolate. When Gaby woke up from his REM sleep on the plane, it was to see the guy next to him open a large bar of chocolate and get a piece. "Are you sharing?" Gaby asked. The guy didn't even look at Gaby, he shook his head then munched.
