Well I suppose we all need to be eased into a foreign environment, like when one steps ever so slowly into a cold Ontario lake.
In our case, the idea was: First the Air France Trip, and then Mumbai can hit us.
Passengers loaded into the plane.
Pass One: Stewards walk done each aisle, each with 2 air freshening aerosol cans open.
Ghada to Gaby, "This is the first time I see this done in a plane".
Gaby to Ghada, "No I'm pretty sure it's standard procedure".
Moments later, Pass Two: Stewards walk done each aisle, each with 2 air freshening aerosol cans open.

Gaby to Ghada, "Well OK, maybe now this is a little overkill". Ghada lets out a chuckle.
Moments later, Pass Three: Stewards walk done each aisle, each with 2 air freshening aerosol cans open.
What next? Is Air France going to drop a Febreze bomb into Mumbai?
(I see Ghada has been mocking my LaDuree fit while I was snoozing in CDG. I should say, I was rather excited to at least be in Paris for a few hours before carrying on to Mumbai. Instead, she dragged us to the most ghetto cafe in the entire airport so we can munch on stale Pain Au Chocolat!)
Correction: Samir, who works in the airline industry has clarified that it was not Air Freshener, but a Disinfectant that was sprayed .
Indeed, its disinfectant..... hope you were breathing nice and deep ;-)
